About AMA Lincoln
AMA Lincoln Brings Marketers Together
From the day we were founded in 1983 to the moment you’re reading this now, our goal has been simple: Help Lincoln and other Nebraska marketers thrive in their careers. AMA Lincoln is a chapter of the American Marketing Association, a national group that shares a similar mission. Whether you’re looking for professional development or hoping to meet new marketers, we’re here to connect you.

Our Legacy and Looking Forward
We were founded in 1983 by Dorothy B. Clark, a Lincoln marketing trailblazer. Her legacy was that of a pioneer spirit, embracing hard work, courage and persistence. Over the last 40 years, we’ve done our best to live up to that legacy by taking on projects that impact our community and help Lincoln marketers thrive in their careers. We’ve been nationally recognized dozens of times over, launched a non-profit conference that went national, and helped lead a campaign to redesign Lincoln’s city flag.
We’re a resource for Lincoln marketers — but we’re also advocates of the Lincoln community. This is where we live, work, and play. And we’re passionate about making it the best place to be.
