Description
Calling all project managers! Do you use Asana to keep track of all your tasks and workflows, but feel like you’re not maximizing everything it has to offer?
Join Asana expert AJ Matthies as he shares a few tips and tricks on how he best uses the project management platform.
A few themes AJ has learned throughout the years by using Asana include:
- Labeling things consistently is more important than you think.
- Not everyone uses Asana the same. Even on your own team.
- Starting out with a program like Asana to manage projects is an uphill battle but very much worth it.
- Don’t be afraid to change the way you do things.
- Don’t gatekeep what saves you time within Asana. Share with the team.
So, grab a cup of coffee and join us as we help you craft an Asana game plan that will crush all your 2024 goals!
Speaker Bio:
AJ Matthies is an Account Strategist for the Union Bank & Trust Marketing Team, where he oversees Asana templates and processes for their loan department and events and outreach teams. AJ has about 7 years of experience using Asana and has used its features for hiring, training, schedule tracking, reporting & analytics, and personal/professional development.
Prior to UBT, AJ worked at Redthread from 2017-2021. A Lincoln native, AJ graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in business administration & marketing and holds an associate degree in computer programing from Southeast Community College.
Last November, AJ married the love of his life Caitie, where they celebrated with friends and family in Omaha. They’ll head to Cancun in February once they’re sick of the cold. When AJ isn’t honing his Asana skills, you can find him and Caitie hanging out with friends (and their dogs), traveling, and enjoying local coffee shops. Oh, and don’t forget to ask him about his houseplants and vinyl collection!
