The Legacy Gala
Celebrating 40 Years of AMA Lincoln
You’re invited to join AMA Lincoln at The Legacy Gala, a one-time-only, red-carpet event celebrating our 40th year of serving Lincoln. Together, we’ll spend the evening enjoying good food, good drinks, and good company while we honor the four-decade journey of AMA Lincoln and pay homage to the trailblazers who’ve shaped our chapter and the vibrant community it serves.
Our Legacy Began in 1983
Dorothy B. Clark, a marketing trailblazer in Lincoln, is celebrated for the significant contributions she made to the American Marketing Association (AMA). In our community, she’s perhaps best known for founding the Lincoln chapter of the AMA in 1983. Her legacy was that of a pioneer spirit, embracing hard work, courage and persistence. Over the last 40 years, we’ve done our best to live up to that legacy by taking on projects that impact our community and help Lincoln marketers thrive in their careers. We’ve been nationally recognized dozens of times over, launched a non-profit conference and recently helped lead the redesigning of Lincoln’s city flag, resulting in a symbol we can all rally behind.
We can’t wait to celebrate every person, memory and moment that have made AMA Lincoln what it is today.
