I’m a marketing specialist at Bright Lights, a nonprofit organization that runs summer day camps. I’ve been on the AMA Lincoln board for … a long time!
What do you do in your free time?
Watching my boys play sports and listening to music to unwind.
What professional achievement are you most proud of?
Being an account director at an ad agency on their biggest account. When I was at UNL I couldn’t see how I would ever get there…but I did.
What personal achievement are you most proud of?
Oh, this one isn’t even a question. Raising my boys.
You can snap your fingers and instantly learn any skill. What is it?
To play the steel guitar. So hard, so cool.
What’s your favorite TV show or movie?
Oh man… that’s hard! Whatever I’m binging at the moment I get pretty into.
You’re out for drinks with friends. What are you ordering?
Crown and Coke. (But a Black Velvet and Dr. Pepper if they happen to have that!)
What advice do you have for younger professionals in the area?
Get involved. Volunteer. Once you’ve tried a few things, then you can focus on the things that you enjoy the most.
What’s your favorite part of Lincoln and why?
While there’s lots of things to do and opportunities, I also love the small town feel of the people. I love knowing all kinds of people who do all kinds of things.
